Mrs Perry was absolutely over the moon with 8R's Accelerated Reader results this year - we have 27 Word Millionaires (a school record), the most quizzes passed and the most words read as a class (47 million words in all). The class was presented with the Accelerated Reader Trophy in their library lesson this week - all 27 Word Millionaires will be attending the annual celebratory Pizza Party at the end of term. A special mention should go to Goodness Odumade for her individual reading total of nearly 8.5 million words, and to Fatima Yasar for her reading of classics such as To Kill A Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice and Lord of the Flies. Congratulations to ALL students - an absolutely tremendous achievement!
