At Sacred Heart, we embrace five core goals that guide our educational mission. This year we have celebrated Personal Growth, which encourages students to become the best version of themselves. Inspired by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, our Foundress, we believe that each student possesses unique gifts and talents.
This half-term, we have been particularly drawn to Mary, as the Patron Saint of Sacred Heart as she exemplifies this commitment to personal development. Mary’s unwavering faith and courage empower students to step out of their comfort zones and this has been reflected in the impressive number of Goals postcard nominations received by all year groups. Mary’s compassion and empathy resonate with our students, encouraging kindness and understanding. As pupils grow, they learn to extend love and support to others, fostering a sense of community, which is another one of the five Sacred Heart Goals. Mary's patronage at Sacred Heart serves as a beacon, guiding students towards making a positive difference in the world.
We have had over 600 students nominated for Goals Postcards this academic year, showing that our students are living out the Sacred Heart mission set out by Madeleine Sophie Barat. Well done to all students!
