On Thursday 9th January, GCSE Dance students embarked on our annual residential trip to London.
The girls enjoyed spending time in the famous Covent Garden, home of Pineapple Dance Studios and The Royal Ballet. A particular highlight was watching the new West End musical 'Mean Girls' at the Savoy theatre; the production was fantastic!
After an overnight stay and an ‘all you can eat’ breakfast, the girls participated in dance classes at the world-famous Pineapple Dance Studios. These classes varied in style from commercial to musical theatre and challenged their performance and technical skills as dancers.
Everyone left classes feeling inspired, motivated and very tired! As always, the girls were a credit to our school and had an excellent time.
