This month, 26 of our Year 9 singers and musicians took part in a music and film workshop producing work that was premiered at a public concert in Newcastle University’s King’s Hall.
Led by industry professionals, our talented students were guided as they developed innovative musical compositions and experimental films.
Their mentors for the workshop included award-winning composer and director Laura Bowler (Professor of Composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama), experimental videographer Julian Hand, and celebrated ensemble the Marsyas Trio.
