Students from Sacred Heart Sixth Form delivered fascinating and highly informative assemblies to Main School students this week focussing on Black History Month, which celebrates the achievements of Black Britons, and has been marked in the UK every October since 1987.
Black History Month is an opportunity to reflect upon British history and showcase the achievements and resilience of Black members of our British communities.
There will be many events in Sacred Heart throughout the month, including poetry readings and book club focussing on "The Book of Echoes" by Rosanna Amaka.
