The last weekend of September saw the last 2 groups of Year 11 students take on their Bronze DofE assessed expedition.
They spent 2 days walking along Hadrian's Wall and around Northumberland. The girls showed great planning, followed the routes well, demonstrating good navigational skills, and worked hard to support each other along the way.
Over night temperatures dropped below zero, making for a very cold night camping. Resilience was certainly needed and the team were up and out of the camp site swiftly in the morning, heading off with enthusiasm on day 2. They did fantastically well and all passed the expedition section of the award.
