This week Sacred Heart promoted “Children’s Mental Health week” (5th-11th February).
The assemblies were delivered by our ‘in-house’ professional Counselling Team (Caroline Williamson and Grace Auton). They presented on the key theme of “My Voice Matters”.
Children often tell us that issues with their mental health and wellbeing are significant barriers to their overall success. They also tell us that they want our help and support so they can achieve the ambitions they have. As a school we believe this theme could not be more pertinent or important.
Children and young people don't feel their voices are heard and taken into account, and we must change that - especially when it comes to mental health and well-being.
