On December 7th, the Music Department enjoyed another resounding success as we celebrated our annual Christmas Concert featuring musicians from Years 7 to 13 and offering a taste of the many talented and dedicated musicians we are lucky enough to have in our school. With a set list covering Benjamin Britten to British Sign Language (and everything in between!) we celebrated the start of the Christmas season with a fun-filled and moving concert.
For the first time ever, we were delighted to welcome Sacred Heart Primary School's choir, the Winter Wonderland Warblers, who entertained and charmed the audience with their performances.
The show culminated in a lively performance of I Wish it Could be Christmas Every Day, with all 180 performers playing and singing on stage together; truly a memorable and heart-warming finale, exemplifying the collaborative spirit that defines Sacred Heart.
The featured photographs show the BSL Choir performing Meredith Wilson’s It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas, the Senior Choir with their rendition of Benjamin Britten’s A New Year Carol, and the original song Christmas Presence performed and written by Celia Ruane and featuring Martha Bell.
