On Thursday 11th January, our Y11 GCSE Dance students set out to catch a train that would take them to Kings Cross for our annual trip to London. The students enjoyed exploring Covent Garden, the home of the Royal Ballet and Pineapple Dance Studios. In the evening, students watched the West End show 'Matilda' and were mesmerised by the performance.
On Friday 12th January, our girls spent the day at the world-renowned Pineapple Dance Studios.
Here, they participated in classes led by industry professionals. The classes were in a range of dance styles and included complex choreography that allowed them to develop their technique and performance skills. Demonstrating great resilience and focus, they were a credit to our school.
