To celebrate European Day of Languages, students took part in a 'Passport Competition' throughout the week, where they put their problem-solving skills to the test to complete their very own 'passport'!
This allowed them to see how many words they could recognise from other languages they didn't even know they knew, such as Ukranian, Russian, Portuguese, Danish, Finnish and Greek to name a few! Completing the passport showed students how knowing even just a few words in another language can be beneficial in other subjects, such as science, geography, maths and can even help them to understand more about English too!
