On Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th October, Year 7 students attended a session in their class sized groups, delivered by Simon from Blue Tiger First Aid.
Simon, having worked as a Police Officer for many years, now works for Blue Tiger teaching important practical skills and knowledge to students on first aid, using examples from his own experiences.
This session focused on the recovery position and when to use it, how and when to administer CPR using the training dolls for hands-on experience, as well as the discussing and practise using life saving devices including defibrillators and epi-pens.
The session was extremely informative and enjoyable for the students who gave fantastic feedback.
