On Wednesday 17th January, our Year 11 GCSE Dancers visited Dance City in Newcastle. Here, they explored the building with a guided tour from Senior Lecturer, Sophie Douglass.
As part of the visit, our students observed degree students in class, as well as taking part in a contemporary technique class. Our girls then participated in a Q&A session with Dr Shantel Ehrenberg, Higher Education Programme Leader.
Here, they got to explore career pathways within the dance industry and ask questions in relation to higher education study in performing arts.
