Harry Potter Book Night returned to Sacred Heart on Thursday the 19th of October! The Library was filled with an assortment of wizards, witches and magical creatures.
The night started with a carousel of activities: Professor Bell’s Incredible Spells in the science lab, wand making and dragon egg collecting.
The students also brought in an assortment of Harry Potter themed baked goods; joint winners of the competition were the delicious pastry mandrakes and chocolate brownie sorting hats.
After a costume parade the winner was an outstanding Golden Snitch! The night ended with Professor JD Arnold’s fiendishly testing Quizarding World Quiz, which was won by Dumbledore’s Army.
A good night was had by all, with the support of a team of Sixth Formers who threw themselves into their roles!
