Throughout this Christmas period, staff and students have been raising money for our very worthy COMMUNITY charity, Newcastle West End Foodbank.
In total, our school filled a minibus with much needed food and toiletry items to donate along with an amazing £785.05 in cash!
Thank you all SO much for all of your support and contributions. This will make such a difference to the people that the Food Bank serves - especially at this time of year.
A big thank you also to our Sixth Form Goal Ambassadors for their candy cane selling efforts. To Miss Lewis, Miss Hall and the Year 8 Goal Ambassadors for delivering our donations to the Food Bank and to Miss Rowell and the CoPE students for donating their Christmas stall proceeds to our charity.
In addition to our charity efforts, Year 8 students delivered some festive cheer to our local care home by sharing Christmas cards which were made in school throughout the last week of term.
