20 Geography students visited Newcastle University for a careers and guidance event which focused around polar environments. The students had the opportunity to meet researchers who have visited the Arctic and Antarctica many times for a huge range of geographical projects.
They attended a careers panel for a Q&A session and explored the polar careers exhibition where they were able to see state of the art equipment, meet a huge range of polar researchers and find out more about careers in these extreme places. It was very interesting and highly useful day!
