Our Sacred Heart Goals are a set of principles that guide and support us to become well-rounded individuals who are ready to face the world with faith, intelligence, compassion, community spirit, and a commitment to personal growth.
Our Goal this half term is SOCIAL AWARENESS and it calls us to recognise and respond to the needs of others. It encourages us to develop empathy and a sense of responsibility toward those around us, especially the vulnerable. In the lead up to this Advent season, we can reflect on how we can embody this goal in our own lives and as a school community.
Over the next five weeks we will host opportunities to raise money and awareness. These include candy canes, our annual Christmas Jumper Day and donations for our ‘We wish you a CANNY Christmas project’. All of these social outreach events around school act as a way to focus on the Goal of Social Awareness and put our faith and compassion for others into action.
