School Council Election - Results!

School Council Elections Last week, our school held its much anticipated School Council elections, marking another exciting chapter in student leadership. The elections saw a fantastic turnout, with students from various year groups passionately participating in the democratic process.


Candidates spent the weeks leading up to the election delivering speeches, putting up posters, and sharing their ideas for making the school a better place.


Key issues raised during the campaigns included improving mental health support, organising more student-led events, and enhancing the school’s environmental initiatives. Voting day was filled with energy as students cast their ballots, eager to support their peers and see who would represent them on the School Council this year.


The results, announced at the end of the week, revealed a diverse group of committed individuals ready to bring new ideas and positive changes to Sacred Heart.


They are as follows: Y7 - Gracie Ihesiaba and Gracie-Rose Urwin Y8 - Naomi Adisa and Evangeline Cross Y9 - Goodness Odumade and Fatima Yasir Y10 - Alice Swatek and Charlotte Keller Y11 - Sarah Eweka and Florence Mauwa Sixth Form - Malaika Zafir and Betty Belay


The newly elected School Council members are excited to begin their roles, working with the school leadership to make a meaningful impact and ensure students’ voices are heard on key issues throughout the year.
