20 Year 12 students have been trained up to be Peer Supporters for our Year 7 students. The training day took place at the Sacred Heart Sisters House on Fenham Hall Drive, led by Mrs Williamson and Mrs Vare - our School Counsellor and School Chaplain.
The students were trained in active listening skills, basic counselling skills, conversation building and confidentiality. The Yr12 students have been assigned to a form class that they will work closely with to support and they are very excited to get started this half term!
