Sixth Formers ‘talk politics’ with former Financial Times Editor

This month, our Year 12 and Year 13 Politics students had the opportunity to meet with Sebastian Payne when he came into school to share his political insights with them.

Until recently, Sebastian Payne was the Whitehall Editor of the Financial Times before becoming Director of leading political think tank Onward. He is also author of Broken Heartlands: A Journey Through Labour's Lost England and The Fall of Boris Johnson.

He was incredibly impressed by the level of student engagement in the session and by the standard and quality of the questions asked. The Politics students thoroughly enjoyed the session and were fascinated by behind- the-scenes accounts of recent political events he shared with them.
