From the 9th to the 11th of December, Laura Hodgson competed at the Scottish short-course National championships at the Commonwealth pool in Edinburgh. She swam 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 metres free and 200 fly. She placed first in both the 800 and 1500 metres achieving personal-best times in both. Among those competing were Olympians, such as Freya Anderson, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott. Next year, Laura will be competing for the University of Tampa in Florida, with an athletic scholarship.
