On Thursday 14th November, GCSE and A Level Drama Students took part in an afternoon workshop led by the company and cast of Raven. Following from its successful run at Alphabetti Theatre, in 2023, Raven was then performed at Northern Stage in October this year.
Students were able to observe a working theatre company, set up, rehearse and run scenes from the performance gaining invaluable insight into the many careers within Theatre. Students were also given the opportunity to talk to cast and creatives about set design, lighting design, directing, acting and stage managing and the various different pathways that led them into this industry.
On November 15th, Sacred Heart welcomed Raven back to perform for students from Sacred Heart Primary as well as all Year 7 students. The performance combines compelling storytelling, live music and puppeteering to create a vivid and engaging performance for all.
