After a year's study with Mr Spraggon on Monday nights as part of the select group of Senior LitSoc, three students have been offered places at Oxford or Cambridge University. LitSoc was initially begun to support students in their application for the highest tariff universities, but has widened over the years. However, we are delighted to have had such success with applications this year! Julia de Cecco will be reading Literature at Brasenose College, Oxford; Scarlett Daniels will be reading Literature at Homerton College, Cambridge, and Poppy Watkins will be reading History and Politics at Christ Church College, Oxford. They are all extremely grateful to Mr Spraggon for hugely widening their knowledge of Literature across the literary canon.
