Throughout the Christmas period, staff and students raised money for our Sacred Heart Goal of Community charity, Newcastle West End Foodbank, through donations and the Foodbank's reverse advent calendar (see our earlier Personal Development Blog post).
In total, our school filled a minibus with much needed food and toiletry items to donate along with an amazing £785.05 in cash!!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our school community so much for all of your support and contributions.
We especially acknowledge and thank our Sixth Form Goal Ambassadors for their candy cane selling efforts, the year 8 Goal's Ambassadors for delivering our donations to the Food Bank and Mrs Rowell and the COPE students for donating their Christmas stall proceeds to our charity.
