On Friday 24th January Codie Nicols, the Head of the Women's Football Academy at Gateshead College, came into school to deliver an assembly to year 10 about the courses offered and the Sports Academies at the college. She talked about a wide range of vocational and academic courses which can be combined with training in a sport such as Football, Netball, Rugby and Athletics. She also promoted a strong message of trying hard whatever your future pathway might be. The students engaged really well and enjoyed the assembly.
