Tuesday, 30th January saw more than 220 Year 11 students attend the "My Future, My Choice" careers event at St James Park, Newcastle.
Students were able to meet and talk to representatives from more than 40 universities, support organisations, colleges, sixth forms and training providers. They heard careers talks from apprenticeship providers and could meet then meet and network with 55 local and national companies.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to see the broad range of careers available in the North East and get inspirational ideas for their futures.
We were very proud of how engaged the students were, and the enthusiasm they showed was a credit to themselves. Many of the stall holders commented on how fantastic the students were!
