Art, Ceramics & Textiles Trip to London

Year 12 and Year 13 Fine Art, Ceramics and Textiles students travelled to London to visit a range of galleries and museums. First stop was the Victoria and Albert Museum, where students explored collections from ancient Chinese ceramics to Alexander McQueen evening dresses. The V&A houses artefacts and artwork spanning 5000 years of human creativity! Fine Art and Ceramic students then took a trip past some famous landmarks to the Tate Modern on South Bank, to look at a contemporary art and sound installation. Textiles students went to Harrods Couture department to see beautiful garments and dresses from different cultures.
