Year 10 students from the Vex Robot team visited Go North-East Engineering. The trip was a great success and the pupils were taken on a tour of the engineering facilities.
There was a presentation from the Head of Engineering who shared with the girls their career path and how they ended up in their role to provide inspiration for the students to join STEM careers.
Their host, Joel, who was also the commercial manager, mentioned that this was the first time that an all female group had attended a visit. He was impressed with the discussions during the tour and the feedback he received at the end.
