On Monday 3rd July, eight Year 10 students embarked on a two-day residential trip to Jesus College, Cambridge. The eight students spent Monday and Tuesday learning all about the University of Cambridge; from applications and student life to Arts and Science taster sessions, touring Cambridge and learning all about the city and many colleges of the University of Cambridge.
Students had the opportunity to participate in a range of social and academic activities throughout the two days in which they interacted with current undergraduate students and academics from the university.
The trip provided a fantastic taster of university life, covering curriculum enrichment activities, an opportunity to meet current undergraduate students and most importantly supported awareness of Higher Education, realising their potential and raising aspirations.
