We recently welcomed students and their families to join us for the Year 7 and 8 Celebration of Success. There was a lot of anticipation and excitement in the air before the event, with students eagerly anticipating which awards they had been nominated for. The evening was to celebrate our current Year 7 and Year 8 students and their achievements of this academic year.
An amazing 70 certificates and gift cards were handed out. Huge congratulations to our award winners! A big thank you is also extended to our guests who joined us for the evening; families, friends, Sacred Heart Sisters, Governors, staff and not forgetting our extremely talented musicians who performed two musical interludes: Celia Ruane, Eliza Richards and Megan Southern.
Prizes were given for each subject, alongside Ethos and GRIT awards, all nominated by class teachers. There was also the Head of Year 7, Head of Year 8 and the Headteacher's ‘Courage and Confidence’ award, which was won by Jessica Eager in Year 8.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students- it was a fantastic evening! We are already looking forward to our next celebration which will be for our current Year 9 and 11 students, who will have their celebration on 13th November 2024. Keep your eyes peeled for more information!
