The Year 8 Netball Club has been very well attended with two teams playing in the City League . We have been victorious in our matches against Dame Allan’s, Newcastle High School for Girls, Gosforth East Middle and drew with Westfield, suffering only one defeat.
We entered a team into the City Tournament where they did amazingly well in their round and qualified for the semi finals. They put up very stiff competition for the eventual winners of the tournament.
We hosted a Netball Festival for Y8 which provided players with another opportunity of inter-school competition. This brought in teams from Walbottle, North Gosforth, Westfield, Newcastle High School for Girls and Dame Allan’s. The Festival was thoroughly enjoyed by all players and had a super vibe.
