On Friday 19th January, Mrs Palmer hosted our first rewards assembly of the academic year for Year 9. This was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the talents and achievements of our girls.
Students received awards for 100% attendance and were nominated for awards by their Form Tutors. Awards were issued for a variety of reasons including kindness to staff & students, outstanding effort, positive attitude and resilience. Maddison Wears received an award for the most merits attainted in the Autumn term: 138 in total!
The Deputy Head of Year Award was given to Jorgie Beaton for outstanding knowledge of, and fierce dedication to, women’s football and the inequalities in modern sport. The Head of Year award was given to Paulina Jarek for embracing opportunities within in our school and showing enthusiasm towards her studies and school life.
