Our annual Relationships and Health Education Day for all year 9 students took on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th June, and for Year 10 on Wednesday 26th June. The purpose of the day was to gain a better insight from experts on Healthy Relationships, emotional well-being, Fertility and Reproduction (includes STI’s), Equality for all, and malicious online content (including the risks taken when using electronic images and viewing inaccurate or dangerous online depictions of intimacy). Students greatly benefitted from the independent information that was sensitively delivered by a range of external experts as well as staff.
Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students stating that they valued the content covered throughout the day, and well as some thoughtful and constructive suggestions for what could be included in the future.
